Oinochoe comes from the Ancient Greek words: oînos which means "wine" and khéō means "I pour," or "wine-pourer". And aren't the musicians we love literally wine pourers to our souls ? They are wine vessels that hold and pour out their liquid magic sounds and intoxicate us with their music. We are no longer the same after a sip of our favourite song. (I, the artist, am usually a bit more drunk with a certain happiness and a secret personal satisfaction that cannot be explained. I must drink this music again, pour me some more...)
